M20 clutch e36 box, slave?

Pop pop goes my 2 e30 slave cylinders . I'm coming towards the end of my m52 build but iv met another wall. I'm using an m20 clutch on the m52 and using an e36 gearbox. Both of the e30 slaves popped and spilled fluid into the bellhousing after carefully aligning and bleeding.

Which slave cylinder should I use??

i'm pretty sure the pins are different lengths mate. you can either take the pin out of an e36 version and put it into yours or make a pin out of an old bolt ground down properly. make sure it stays concentric and the pin locates into the clutch arm detent though.

You can use the E36 unit. My M20 also went pop, so I fitted the E36 slave and it works fine. Also easier to connect & bleed due to the location of the connector & bleed nipple.

Its the cylinder that is longer, so using an E36 slave is the way to go, generally you use whatever slave should be fitted to the gearbox as standard
