I think it would be easy enough in the 5, enough room for everthing.
Wirirng is probably the difficult part.
Theo should be able to answer that

If any body else wants to ruin another E28 and make it undriveable, I have another one of these turds, a big spec 528i in uber rare gloss black. Yours for a bag !

I would imagine it looks like a black E28 528i.

Question = If I removed the suspension from my identical gloss black E28 and attempted to fit some wheels that don't fit, would I have a procession of rimmers queuing to tongue my sweaty crack ?

Latest craze seems to have cards in between the rim and tyre.

He's rocking an E9 now, and it's bloody sexual:

I agree! Its the same old "put it on air" job... All kitted vw's are looking like this... Why do people want there cars to look the same? Its a little boringMorat wrote:Isn't this look getting a bit played out now?
But thats a mint E28 and the CSL above is also a cracking car but would look great on original wheels or alpina wheels from that era!

That doesn't even make sense dude.Ajsingh wrote:but would look great on original wheels or alpina wheels from that era!
It's quite simple, a lot of people believe cars look better lowered. The majority, in fact. The BBS mesh-styled wheels are the best looking wheels for old BMWs and VWs. They're period correct and remain classy. This look isn't as much of a 'look' as it is simply good taste.
I guess you'd prefer everyone had multicoloured wheels and mismatching bumpers though. At least that way they won't all look the same.
I swear people just make obtuse statements sometimes without even considering what they're saying.
For the record, neither of those cars are on air.

Ok they maybe period and classy ... But what your saying is, most vw drivers have some sort of bbs wheels on there mk1's, mk2's and so on... And this is due to great taste? I don't think so..
And no im not a fan of multicoloured bumpers but recently iv been to a few shows and its the same old thing... Get a set of polished bbs wheels. Lower it to the floor and thats it! Whats the point in that? Most cars just look the same that way!
Lol i personally think that car would look great on its original wheels as it keeps the car in its era....

You can't complain that cars look the same and then suggest using original wheels in the same breath, it's a ridiculous contradiction.
I wasn't the one saying most VWs wear BBS-styled wheels and look the same actually, you were
And in your first sentence you seem to comprehend that BBS wheels are from the correct era, hence the word period, but your last sentence contradicts that again.
Honestly dude you just sound confused.

Lowered cars on split bbs look awesome. Sure they all look the same, or similar but they all look amazing (If that's what you're into). I wish I could afford splits for my e30, hell I'd deck my sister's and my mum's cars for them and slap some bbs on if I could afford it - they need the street rep.
Although wouldn't trust them to keep the dish's shiny and curb free!
I think stevie's car is a bit of a trendsetter... jap bodykits are defo coming back now.
