Aye it is, but understandable as white chromies are beautiful, and S50s are great engines, and Hartges are top 5 alloys for an E30.

looks like its going to be M30, S50 is not avalable from my mate atm.

At least it'l be straight forward again.

Blitz, could to a Alpina lookalike, have the staggered wheels, Steering wheel, just need a front spoiler, but can't be arsed

Can be done Blitz, it's going to be similar to StaleyTurbos engine with the ITB's and plenium, but with out the Turbo.

I prefer the lazy low end torque of the M30, and the look of the bay.
I just can't stand seeing "Plastic" in a E30 engine bay, it should be of the same period.
Oh, btw, you owe me a Alpinewhite Rattlecan so I can get rid of the graffitti on the suspension turret

+1 - I'm with Rav on that. Plastic engines belong in toy cars.

M20B20 Autos are were its happening kids. You should get one of these badboys in it Rav... Low speeds, high fuel consumption...

As much as I think the 24v preachers are a bit

, the plastic excuse is pathetic. I remember the first time I saw an M50 in an E30 bay and all I could think was holy fuck, that engine was designed to fit there. The fit, look, everything, was just perfect.

I love driving M30s and low end torque but if we're talking about looks, 24v wins hands down every single time. The M30 looks like it's squashed in and tends to be untidy with wires and cables all over the place.

Spencer, that depends on whose car it is, and how good the conversion was carried out.
Mine doesn't have "Wires" all over the place.

Cleaned the sunroof area, looks pretty ok, better than what I expected

And also changed the seats over, after a mate had been over to install an alarm.

After a good clean and wash, went out with the missus for a bite to eat, and thought I would take the Chromie out. Looks

Needs some fresh plates making up mate. Number plates finish a car off nicely.

My plates were about £9 a pair delivered from eBay, too. Very cheap way to improve looks a lot. Can find the seller if you're interested?
