oil level sensor wiring not in wiki?

Hola all,
i'm just trying to wire up my oil level sensor with a short tail of wiring that i removed from an e38 728i. it's a three pin plug which fits into the sensor plug but the wires don't correlate to what they are supposed to be in a 5 series. i have green/white, brown and grey/brown.
i know the colour of the wires don't really matter it's the positions of them that does but i don't know which pin should go where?
any help guys? cheers

Is the E38 loom still in one piece Kev? Might be interested in it if its your or you can get your hands on it

thanks mister, sorry but the loom is no good now, i've used parts of it to make mine tidier.
