e30 Drivers door check strap

Door clicks badly - think the check strap is broken on the inside of the wing. Are these a pain to fix? Cheers

Easy to replace, remove door card two 10mm bolts and a hammer to knock the pin out, o/s and n/s front door are the same.

They can be repaired by welding, but it's easier to fit a fresh one!
Don't forget to refit/repair the door plastic membrane properly. It keeps water out.
