Anyone fitted an E36 328i gearbox onto an M54B30 for an transplant into E30?

Nobody has really bothered with the M54
What management are you planning to run?

I am using a DTA 80 Engine Management.
I thought the M54 was a viable and cheap engine transplant into an E30. The DTA aside, 260bhp and 240ftibs torque is cheap power. The engine was chosen for its weight compared to M3.

People don't usually bother with it cause the management is harder to sort than M52 and earlier, and because we're all massive pikeys, but if you're got that covered it should be great.
Don't know about the gearbox sorry.

Done the E36 328i box change anyway. was not too hard. Changed the crankshaft bearing at the end of the crank and modified the E36 328i prop to fit the E30.
Only trouble was that the box from Quarry was a donkey!!!
