I was wondering what people's views are on the black bbs cross spokes normally found on the 325 sports?
Were they an option for any model?
Would it be maddness to have a set put on my 318 convertible if I'm trying to keep it original? Would having a set of 15" bbs sprayed do the job?
Suggestions please.

The black ones you see are simply silver ones with a fresh paint job
325i sports has 15" silver BBS's fitted as standard

Thanks.
I've done a bit more research and what I was after are the nogaro (matt dark grey) bbs cross spokes on the motor sports.
It appears that you wouldn't find them on any other model.
Have you heard of people spraying their standard bbs to achieve this look or would you suggest the actual thing.

spray them yourself mate to achieve the look you want.. its easy to do, just take your time in the prep work and a rattle can will do the job..
i'll be doing mine soon.. just deciding what colour to go for.. gold with polished edge or black ?

Original ones will probably look well past their best so if you want them to look really nice, just find a set of straight silver 15" BBS's and get them refurbished to suit
I did mine satin black with rattlecans and though they looked good for a while, a few thousand miles later and they've picked up a lot of stone chips, but it's all down to your budget really

Defo just stray them yourself, easy enough to do.
