Have to say Rav, took more abuse than Mick's Diff and just
kept smiling. Top man.
Magpie, can't express how pleasant it was to be woken by
yourself passing wind sometime before 7am. Twas only
surpassed by your insistence on sharing the finest dross Radio 1
had at their disposal. You may well have had the smallest Tent
on site but the decibell level emanating from it was only equaled
by the fookin jet drag car. Ya noisy coont.
Btw. speedo all fitted and working correctly, swapped my milometer into it to keep it all kosher.

cheers for the coffee Rob
sorry about the wind,i blame Dezzy's home made burgers for that.
why are so many people so grumpy in the morning ?i had a great nights kip. inflatable mattress FTW.
first time i've had an inlet below suck itself shut and cut the engine out [6 runs] i thought it was the fuel pump playing up again then when i sort that out and get ready for a proper run and the bloody diff hanger snaps off [bang! ya basxrd.....] nearly shit meself
all x4 bolts that secure it to the beam are still there and tight it just the back plate that's had it.
the AA took me to ferry bridge services then the car was loaded on to another flatbed and taken the rest of the way home.bloody things are limited to 56 mph,a long boring drive but both drivers were a laugh so it wasn't too bad.

Glad its not too bad magpie, it looked frappin spectacular when it happened! Did you have to wait much longer after i went? Me and my mate were the last ones out of the camping field lol. It figures though as we were the last ones in on saturday night. Trying to pitch a tent at 11pm infront of e30 candlespec headlights after a 2.5 hour journey!
If i had got there in the afternoon i would have tried to get involved with you lots banter but i felt a little out of place what with being a latecomer and your party was in full swing
Awesome day though! Dan's e30 looked about 83 times better in the flesh than in its mag feature. Stunning car. I also went absolutely and totally weak at the knees and dribbling slightly at the black e21 with alpina accessories. As the owner of a very white e30 i noticed a potentially expensive pattern in my taste forming

Really enjoyed my visit too even with those chuffin flies. Poor Mrs Eddie had never been to the Pod and was struggling to get her head round it for being eaten by flies.
I spotted the zone Coont and Iain but sadly i only knew others by their cars.
Dezzy - I was in the Brilliant Rot turd with the Alpenis front end that followed you up to the A1. Fan my custard your car moves when you passed that Toyota Carina thing.
I could really do to swap my diff inners as mine is a bit bruv around 80mph, it is just cominng on cam thus starts to bark a bit out the back. 3.91 is a bit close i think for a cruiser.

Not a bad show this year and got to meet some deviants face to face finally. There were a few faces that i didn't see this year though.
Some nice cars there this year to, the black E21 323i on Alpinas, the V10 powered E46 M3 and Penton's S50 powered black tech 2 were a few that spring to mind.
The flys were so infuriating, could not stop ruffling my hair to get the buggers out!

I hear you Dezzy, I had done a shed load of driving over the weekend and was feeling the strain, hence I wound the old girl up and got back to my other halfs for an afternoon power nap

Got back home in time for the GP, fell asleep before the end only to wake up
to a very weird smell coming from the kitchen.
Turns out my Mrs and Daughter had gone to a Food Fair on Saturday and Sunday lunch
turned out to be Kangaroo Pie.
I shi* you not.
So not only did i spend most of the weekend with Snoopy but i get fookin Skippy for dinner.
Strange weekend
