Sorry if I'm being completely thick.... but any ideas why the lights for me speedo etc have gone dim?

I know over time they get dim cos of resistance in corroded wires etc, but they seem to have gone dim over the past two weeks or so and its bugging me now!

Any advice appreciated :-)

if it's all the dash lights including the heater controls , it mat be the headlight switch it doubles up as a dimmer for the dash lighting, spin it clockwise and it should go brighter hope it's that.
