Thought it was poorly attended this year, seems like there was very few people about compared to the last couple of years.

i was not allowed to park on the stand the marshall said i should have a club pass
there was some very nice cars on the stand it was a shame most of them was all locked and i though that some of the members was not exactly frendly... apart from the owners of an two tone s50 turbo the m3 under the stand and light blue m3 these are the pepole that set a very good example for the zone and thing i hated the most was a group of members just slagging off other members cars that is not on

Sounds like a good meet.

Will say one thing though. Do you expect people to leave their cars unlock for you to see how comfortable the seats are???

Just got home... Burnt to a crisp... Had a brilliant day too. :D Met a few new faces and some horrible old ones. :D Some git called Tony kept talking to me all day too.

Didnt manage to get any pictures though! I was gonna in the afternoon but when the rain started and everyone started clearing off  Shame as 20 minutes later it was bloody hotter.

@pjaystar - I didnt get a pass either but I got there fairly early so the marshall let us in. No one was on the gate when we arrived to give us our passes etc. Didnt really over hear people slating other members cars but its just opinions mate, some things arent to everyones taste. And too right I kept my doors locked when I wasnt there... I know what these theiving gits are like

I also had the honour of meeting Mr Brian Moore & his lovely wife :D Spoke to him first thing but didnt realise it was him, then at the end of the day he came over again and we had a chat, told me I had some wrong fuses and then introduced himself. I felt like I was meeting a legend. :D

@Brian - My fuel pump isn't as noisey now either! Still a little whine but nothing as drastic as before, not sure how changing the fuse would have done anything but it sounds better :thumb:

In all, I had a bloody good day and enjoyed it. Hopefully others got some pictures?

After the recent theft of a showcar from pod, I honestly would not entertain the thought of leaving a car unlocked anywhere at a show.

Glad to see you all had a good day, First one I have missed for a few years. Felt strange being at work when you oiks were having fun :(

club passes were available from the zone team

we are all a friendly bunch and there are some dedicated members of the forum who have been around for 6 odd years and know each other well, and know e30's very well

as said, there has been a high profile car theft from santapod recently, it is advised by the pod to keep your car locked and sensible. while it is a show, i would not want any one touching any of my cars, let alone leaning on them and getting inside to feel up the leathers. i cant stand it when i come pack and see finger prints on my cars, why do people have this thing where they feel they have to touch it. if i am around then i'll have the bonnet open etc and quite happily show them anything they want to see

i have a feeling i know who the members were who you said were slagging of other cars, but they the previously mentioned group of long serving members who know e30's and bmw's very well. does that give them the license to "slag off" another car, or put more politely criticise another car? well if they feel the need then why not. its just an opinion but possibly a well opinion that is justified. there certainly were some fucking hounds about thats for sure, not only on the e30 zone are but in all displays

i had a good time, there were some people i wanted to catch up with but never got around to seeing every one.

I thought it was Magpie but when you mentioned it I assumed it must have been you and I was looking at a chromie rather than the facelift I thought. Eyes aint that bad.

So, i'm still clueless to what you look like... Aha.

Magpie didnt look happy when it happened, sure I heard some swearing...

There's a photo of Scott's arse somewhere.

Great night, only made it until 1am before I hit the sack, waking up 2 hours later with shocking heartburn.

The Captain Fishy Chicken cardboard Burgers were fucking legendary.

Not a bad show, but well down on numbers - I'd say it was 40% down on last year and the 5 and 7 Series crew weren't there at all. No doubt the cost of fuel is really hitting hard now.
