cracked thermostat housing,alloy type needed,where from

starting to get ready to fire up,found themostat housing has split through the bolt hole (plastic type).read somewhere about a alloy type one,what car is it from and best place to source one?

Is this the alloy one. I looked on the ecp website and they're listed as plastic

I rang them and got him to check before buying and it was an alloy one I got.
