320i/325i engine swap & suspension questions

Hiya

Wanna do a engine swap but my 320i is an auto and i wanna keep it that way.

Few questions -

1. Whats the difference in fuel consumption between the 2 engines?
2. Is the gearbox on the 325i auto different to the 320i box and whats the differences?
3. What diff is likely to be on the car at the moment (320i auto cab K reg?)
4. What suspension legs does the cab likely to have at the front - is it 45mm or 51mm?
5. I like the look of the 17"bbs split rims but they are 5x120 - without using adaptors - can i get the suspension of a e36 compact and fit it straight on without mods?

1. Not much, they're pretty much the same
2. Not sure but i'd assume so.
3. It should have it stamped on it but possibly 3.73 onwards
4. 51mm
5. I think they fit on pretty straight forwards just need the front arms changing or something as well. Probs best using the search tool to have a look or check the wiki.
