helllllp,
i was out lastnite with a load of mates rasing some hell, i was flat out coming in to a quite sharp right hander (60mph+) slowed a bit, the backend twitched on the wet leaves, next thing i hear, P-DING the back wheel slaped off the curb, (nice eh) gaind control and got about 100 meters down the road and the car cuts out :-x
now iv got a sneeky feeling its something to do with the fuel pump?
is there some sort of saftey device that shuts the pump off?
the car starts then cuts out straight away, which is why im thinking fuel it's related as it will just be using the rest of the fuel on the rail,
can anybody shed any light on this??
oh yeah where is the fuel pump, i couldn't find it by the road side at 3 o.clock this morning :?

all i know mate is fuel pump(s) are in the tank unit, access cover under yout rear seat, I seem to remember Brianmooore the legend that he is advising someone about some cars having 2 pumps or there being 2 stages to a pump, anyway I guess he'll set you right if he sees this post.

Did you ever get your car on the rolling road btw?

ahhhhh under the rear seat that's right, gonna have a look now and see if it's pumping,
im thinking that it's pump related as my mates cosworth had the same sort of set up on it, he had a little bang in his and it turned out to be a sort of pop up/cut off switch on the pump, he pushed the lil button down and bingo it fired straight away,

and the R,R the guy was being a d1ck so im looking for somewhere else, first he say's i can use the nitrous then he say's i cant (pussy)

For future reference, there's no g force operated cutout on an E30. There is one inside the locking ECU though, that unlocks the doors in a crash.
