hi guys i have changed the idle control valve, AFM and cleaned the throttle but still i have a crazy idle sometimes going up to 3000 rpm and then dropping back down. it sometimes doesnt start after its hot aswell. the needle is rocking back and forth too!

do i need to change the blue temp sensor? or themostate?

i will appreciate any help jamie

Tighten the brass nuts on the back of the instrument cluster and tell us what engine you have will do for a start.

no advice i thought someone would have come up with something by now many thanks jamie

i am going mad with this idle problem

there are no air leaks, so thats why i think its the blue sensor?

what does the blue sensor do, it also seems like its over fueling. its using loads of petrol.

cheers guys

Over fueling and poor hot starting could well be due to a duff blue temp. sensor, if it's telling the ECU that the engine's cold all the time.
