Northern monkeys going to pod.
Moderator: martauto
I am camping this year. I plan to meet Our Lee on way (hopefully).
I am working till 12 on Saturday but then heading straight down.
Anyone else fancy a drive down together???

Sure beardy mat would be up for this and maybe topless but there M1 side.

She is now saying she can have saturday and sunday off but would need to work through the night sunday... I'll speak to her tomorrow about it and update.

I'll be going down early on Saturday so we can get set up ready for watching the F1 qualifying. Should be fairly p!ssed by the time you lot get there.

Reet plans have changed slightly. I am off on Saturday now. I plan to leave for Lee's 10ish. Get to his 11ish and head off down to pod. As lots of stops to wait for people will make for a slow trip, I reckon 1 or to meeting points along the way.
We have being talking today and want to be there for 3ish. Tents up, BBQ on and bear in hand for no latter than 4.
Everyone is welcome to join in as and when along the ruite but waiting around for people is a no no. We need to get on it.

Me, Lee, Scott and Andy are planned to meet anlong the way so am guessing A1 would be easiest

I've always gone M1 and off at junction 15.
Everett will probably want to stop at every frag yard he knows along the A1/M1 corridoor

M1's fine by me mate, I probs have it confused. I think i came back A1 because of roadworks????

Hmmm, that may actually happen. I've only got three M50 2.5 manifolds in stock!E30BeemerLad wrote:I've always gone M1 and off at junction 15.

U Pull It has got nothing but a load of stripped shite that's been there for 1-2 years, so I may well be going to a couple of Southern yards and then head accross to Pod for an evening of wine, song and dry bumming.
It's the 8th for M30 tug boats to get there for the 10th - the rest of us can leave a day later and avoid those tiresome lock gates and coal stops.Rav335uk wrote:Andyboy wrote:I'll be joining you Nortern Gets on t'way doon, like.

cant come soon enough for me, really looking forward to it and with any luck we wont have to try and survive the cold on saturday night to see the action on sunday this time.
Would be nice if "woody" doesnt get out of his tent with morning glory and stick his stereo on at daft o clock this time. I can stay at home for that kind of abuse.
