What would be causing my temp guage to rise VERY slowly? I drive it for about 20 mins before the guage even moves! Is this normal? or Very odd?

Could be electrical, but if it eventually rises to the normal (middle position) then could be your thermostat stuck open, so the car taking long time to warm up.
easy to test, take it out, dip in boiling water and it should open, and close in cold water. if car is cool when you take it out and its open then its probably knackered. not expensive to replace.
dont forget to peroperly bleed system after you replace it.

Or is the needle sticking? Mine does this now and again, quick tap on the dash and it springs to life.

Cheers guys!
Quick Q.. How do you bleed the system? I looked in the overflow (?) bottle and there's coolant (I think) in there. I thought that was sposed to happen when the engine was too hot?
Will try the thermostat test!
Cheers!
