Im wanting to clean my sunroof drains as when you fill the sunroof tray with water to test them the fronts are the only ones which you can hear and see the water draining from and the trays in the rear are still dry... I understand that they should be cleaned from the boot up but with what ???? Thoughts apperciated.

Thanks

Steve.

I just pushed a bit of plastic coated cable down mine. It's not strong enough to do damage but stiff enough to see if there is a blockage and where it is.

The plastic coated cable I used was a bit of clothes line.

If you plan on having the roof lining down anytime soon then just wait. Pull the tubes off and wash them out then refit them. Whilst your at it you will have a good chance to inspect for roof rot which is unfortunatly very common.
