How much should i be paying

I am dead set on doing the m52b28 conversion and have just been offered a full car with 109k for 500 quid.

Is it worth it or should i be looking for one cheaper, i'm viewing the car this evening and i am also after any pointers on what i should be looking out for, i would hate to buy a lemon and my bmw knowledge is limited.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Also if anyone can assist me in advising what i need to take off this car as i will be divorced quickly if i have half a car on the drive for more than a fortnight.
