I love ACS type 1 splits but they really don't fit.......

Sorry but not my cup of tea, but everyone has their own style. :D

Nice car, especially the AC wheels, I think they fit perfectly! It's what proper German tuning is about. :) Are they 10" wide and what kind of lowering you are using?
I'm using 10" Brock B1 wheels and -40mm lowering at rear and there is not much room between rims and wheel arches(about 15mm only  ). So at a moment I can't use back seats. How did you sorted out this?
I read about the Santa Pod, is it just a car show and is there any fee if I would like to take part of this?
Keep up the good work!!

there is special topic about Santo Pod, E30zone is there every year ;)

it's only a 9.5 at the rear, these are E46 wheels... that's why they come out a bit to much...

i have a KW V2 can't go much lower, at the front i can just fit a paper between the tire and arch (when i'm not in the car..)

You need to think about puling/flaring arches, playing around with camber and running a stretch. My car used to rub all the time, but after I rolled and pulled the arches it doesn't rub. I'm running 9J at the back with a bit of a stretch....Still rubs when got a few lads in the back.

arches are already fully streched

and 205/40 17 on a 8.5 rim
225/35 17 on a 9.5

it's good like that, just going to change te camber a bit and its perfect

finally bought a new engine...

it's a M44 (318is from E36 '96)

but like u should know, i will not put the engine in like this winkeye

plans:

New Crank (M47)
New Pistons (S50)
Custom steering computer

this should make it almost 2.1L

i don't know how to call all the work i'm goin' to do in English (I speak dutch..)

But the building should start around september, first recolting all the info and parts to do the swap

and finaly around marsh the engine, and engine bay should be finished, 200hp???

Went to Visit Janssen (Janssen-motorenrevisie.nl)

at tha back an Z3 coupé M
Image
parking full E30
Image

Janssen will be doin' the followin':

Make Cilinders 86mm
Balance and mout the M47 crank
Mount the pistons and rod

It Will be JE-Pistons, adapted to be mounted on 140mm rods, JE does all the custom work

But!! Janssen doesn't make the engine run or mount it in my car... luckely het knew somebody who did this conversion a year ago, and only lived 2 streets farther

BAS ROOS Motorsport

Image

they will make the engine start ready

and than the car goes on a trailer to http://www.boltuning-parts.nl/ to prepare the motor managment

the ITB will be a Jenvey

also bought some yellow stuff

How on earth did they manage to hit your E30, they were in a honda Jazz, its a tiny shoebox, tallentless drive who doesn't know where the brake pedal is i think.
