his car was parked next to mine, he showed me the lump in it, alpina rocker cover and a alpina 6branch manifold he said it was a rare touring model something about they only did a short run and the manifold is close to the steering coupling and it can melt them so its worth keeping an eye on that but he was busy sitting in his car playing ps2 so i didnt disturb him too much

Fairplay to him if it's genuine, needs un-modding and tidying then would be a tidy motor! Still has an IS splitter under that snow plough tho? I'll buy his engine if he ever frags it!

mattthehat325 if you dont know what it its you will the next time you see it the exhaust i had replaced last monday is soo deeeep man sounds a million times better and is fitted properly now so no more rubbing issues thanks man, your coupe is slick o.e.m with afew mods the way it is meant to be are you goin to the ace meet?

I just wanna make it minter in general, like engine bay, interior, few bits n bobs need doin bodywork wise, and maybe a 2.7 its not my daily though!

yeah works a big issue for me too mate as i work a lot of weekends. I told the gaffer today on the phone that i've got loads of car shows coming up so expect me to be taking random days off for the next few months He seemed ok with it so should be able to get to most big ones!
cheers man, e36 are definately underrated! I never used to like them but mine does everything it needs to and more! I have an hour each way to work everyday so might aswell have something comfy and fast eh! mines a 323i sport with m52b28 conversion

haha trust me mate, i've considered EVERY swap going, m52, s50 ,m30, m60, s38, m88 and so on! i decided 12v FTW! so a tasty m20 is the only way forward for me! If i get another e30 i'd love to do a 24v but it just doesnt fit in with the direction my cars going in, trying to keep it classic-ish

Not your fault dude. I was just expecting a few more VW's, as in Beetles and buses etc, I seen 1 beetle and 2 buses. No Karmanns or owt like that. lol
