Hi people, I've decided I want an e30 to get me into track driving! Want to do it on a budget which shouldn't be a problem as I'm handy with a spanner and don't have an issue with engine swaps, rewiring cars etc
My question for the experts is what should I start with a 325i or 318is and then drop a lump in from an e36 or what? Seems like you can pick up some really
Nice 318is for cheap sonare these a good palet to begin with?I'm big on power but appreciate with power I will need bigger and better stopping power etc so where shall I start?
Thanks in advance
What's best car to start with for a track beast!

The 318iS is a good place to start, The rear discs and beefier front suspension might save you a few quid later on. But the best car to start any build with is one with no rust!! It is far easier to swap over a few bolt on parts than it is to have a full on welding marathon. Solid e30's are getting hard to find now though.

Everywhere like all the E23, E28, E24 and E30series cars. There is nowhere they cannot go.
