Andrew (Demlot) & Bharat (buttwipe)

Bharat (buttwipe) came round mine on friday and helped me remove the head from my car (recent cam belt failure)

took a little while as we were going at it blind
took a good half day.

then saturday Andrew (Demlot) & Bharat (buttwipe) came round
and helped me (or should i say i helped them)
take the head from another engine and fit it to mine
and was there until about half twelve at night helping me get things sorted.

got up early this morning changed the oil & filter
and the car is great so thanks very much boys
its very much appreciated any time i can return the favour just gimme a shout

LOL. Looks like the 'buttwipes' have done their job.

Didn't get back home until about 1:30, as Andrew's dumb Satnav took us right through the City.

Well, not too bad actually, as loads of people were out pubbing/partying, so there was plenty to 'admire' in the mega-slow traffic winkeye

Glad to hear everything is running fine mate. Will see you tomorrow at some stage....

i hear the old camshaft was a "touch" worn and nearly round?

this must be the first M40 revived for a long time! :wink:

ok let me sort mine out thursday (clutch, linkage, service ect)
and should be able to do it friday or the following thursday and if you put you new lump in the tourer we can do both at once.

its written off mate lol

engine is about an inch to the left, you cant full lock the wheels and push cos the chassis is now half in the arch

A pair of butts with wipes :hump: i did pass by and saw them in action [ working on the car that is] well done. as for sir B going to watch charlton play well i anit got enough days spare to explain, all i can say is BUTT is the word that comes to mind.
