as title, i took these when it was being made but forgot to post them up. its 2 downpipes into a Y piece, single 2.5' with smallish middle box (just to keep noise level down a touch lol) and 2 45mm tails i think thats what they were..... she really sings when the revs climb, i love it 8)

Nice. Love seeing exhausts being crafted to an individual car. Going to get my M52 up and running with the bits I have before having a proper exhaust made.

it sounded lovely with the m50 spiting through it but the m52 i now have in is something else mate!! the middle box helps to keep it down when im not poking it but you can still tell theres something special in there when driving nicely or sat at the lights on tickover, but when the revs climb she sounds epic ! She howls up top and has been refered to by more than 1 person that she sounds like a bike going past there house on full chat lol 8)

What was the cost if you don't mind us asking? I need a "Y piece" like that!
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

dont mind at all mate :) ,, I bought a set of tubular manifolds off a zoner but they were mig welded so.....
He ground off the migs and re tig welded them properly, reemed the ports out for me aswel and made the whole system for £400

i was happy with this price as i cant weld for shite and also it was custom made to my car ect and brand new , and the noise it gives off..........!!! :wan: lol. epic :D

Looks good mate! Love good custom porn :D

I need to have mine done properly, My efforts are just not not worthy of the engine in my car.
Any one know of somewhere down south that can do this for me?

@dan- the only thing it needs to go back in for is the front mani needs moding slightly to fit an e46 rack as you mentioned before, but he will just mod the front downpipe he's already made, but it serves a purpose for now 8)

@jim- I've know the guy for years, he's the owner of prospeed custom exhausts in cardiff. He's done about 5 of my cars before so he did me a deal on it. But if you did come down I could have a word as I can guarantee he would do it for WAY less than 900 8O

Think of it this way, mine was a 24v jobby so a lot more tricky!! And he did it for that price, and a quality job that I'd recommend to anybody 8)

It would only be for my 320 auto... Nothing special, just twin 2" pipe exit is all i'd want... Obviously an exhaust inbetween the end and the engine though. :D

Looking very nice mr dk  The front part is exactly like what i will need.
It`s a nice drive to sunny wales winkeye
I had my last one done at powerflow for my M40.(only the front part)
The product and price was ok but fk me the welding was absolute shyt, i took it off after six months and sold it before it fell apart!

But charlie's work is litrally second to none around here! I swear by him :)

If you get to the stage where you need it done and can't find anywhere good enough drop me a pm, can always meet you off the m4 and take you there 8)

looks really nice mate,

is there any power to be lost having a single pipe rather than 2?

I don't think so tbh, a guy called monkey?? On here had an m50 running 217bhp through a 2.5' single....
Mines an m52, if I'd gone 3' I think it wouldn't do it any favours (to big) but 2.5' is apparently good for gains so I went with that 8)

Pretty much the reason mate yeah, the system is tucked up nicely. I took it off when I did my m20 conversion and never put it back on, so when I dropped this lot in I took it to him without the shield on :)

I could prob refit it but I don't see the point as I've had no issues without.
Plus my car will be lighter than any other facelift hahaha weight reduction stage 1
Nah I'm only jokin lol 8O
