Hey guys,
only sold my E30 two months ago and im already getting thoughts of getting another!

There is an e30 325i cab round the corner from me that has been standing for a couple of years. Its looking abit shabby but on the whole it looks solid and was the owners pride and joy when i was younger. Im tempted to go ask if they would sell it..... If they do how much should i offer?

I know its an open question but realistically what's the most you would pay for a neglected 325i with no mot or tax?

thanks guys :)

I'd go round and see what he wants fella... He'll put a price on it, if not, start low and see how it goes. £200 is always appealing for something that isnt used anymore.

Be very carefull!

A new hood,for example,will cost you around £750 fitted.

May be an idea to express an interest in 'the old banger' and see what sort of answer you get.....

You've also got to be careful with calling someones car an "old banger" - I know what sort of response I'd give if someone I didn't know said that to me

Agree with Rob on that... My mate was was telling me yesterday that someone outside his work was cutting bricks with a saw and covered his E30 in dust... My mate went out and said what the hell you doing kinda thing and the bloke said, 'Ah, its an old car anyway'... I have yet to hear that from someone, but i'm sure as well wont be smiling and nor will they.

Offer the fella a oner and see what his reaction is. Worst thing he will do is tell you what he rally want's and then it's your your prepeard to pay.

Its well specced though, tech 2 wheel, leather sports seats etc.
