Anyone know if there is a way of replacing diff bush without removing the whole diff from car? rubber one on car is broken up - going to replace for Powerflex

Drain the oil from the diff and remove the rear cover, then you can get the thing on the bench to play with it.

Stock bush is rubber with a steel inner and outer,so you need to cut the rubber out and then carefully saw through the outer, without marking the alloy bush holder!

You can probably do this without removing the diff cover, but if like me,you are working laid on your back with the car on axle stands, pulling the cover off so you can work in comfort is worth a new gasket and a bit of oil.
