Have I got a lazy EWS?
I normally get in the car, put the key in the loop, almost instant click, starts on the first spark and away I go,
But i'v noticed quite a few times it's taken 5+ seconds before I hear the "click"
Is it just mine that does that?
or are all EWS units the same?
EWS Problem??

Well mine must just be like a woman,
1 minute shes fine
next
just a bit temperamental ,
I'll just kick it the next time it acts up

Is your chip in the key Craig? I found I was getting interference from the steel part of the key, wrapping them in a small bit of insulation tape sorts this. I always turn to ignition and let the fuel pump finish priming before I crank
