Quality, are you going to treat the surface rust? Give it a bit more bling?

Loving the progress though man, you're getting there!

One thing though are you sacrificing the green cabby for the greater good?
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

You will need to add some sort of heat shield on the inner wing next to the turbo as the great heat generated by the turbo will burn the paint off exposing the metal then causing it to rust.

This is quite common on E30's with six branches or S14 engines so that stonking great turbo only mm's away will make short work of that paint.

p.s, i hope the cable ties holding the fan are temporary.

p.p.s, replace the cable ties on the plug lead holder with the correct cover.

Come on Imy, chop chop :D

Good progress but just a thought, do you have some sort of heatsheild to go round the turbo? Edit: Barry beat me to it :)

That looks close 8O

Or is it the angle of the pic :squint:

Only one cable tie on the fan. It's held by two bolts, top and bottom.

There is a heat shield for the plug leads.

Heat shield fitted :P

I'll be getting one for the other side as well. It's just the angle of the pic, enough space/clearance around the turbo.

Intercooler and pipes done, as well as the FPR guage

Just got to find a hose to fit the bottom of the E28 rad, what a pain that is

Then just connect the Megasquirt, put some oil and coolant in and fire the beast up

Micra was too quick so had to sell it, got a Honda Civic Type R rep now winkeye

Not got time to get on here as much now as you may have noticed :)

I hear there's a new postwhore on the block winkeye :P

Anyway, project has been laid back for a while due to work commitments and a bit of wheeling and dealing.

Back on the project now so will update properly soon.

Bought these seats for it, await the replies :D

Took me a while to find just the fronts, didn't want to buy a whole interior. Local too so that was a bonus :D

I'm in 2 minds about the colour really, I just wanted the seats tbh, wasn't worried about the colour as my original plan was to dye them red like the E92/3 :? I reckon green and white could work too 8)

Dips- I may need to pick your brains on fitting them  :D

I iz back Rav, not full time though just yet

Just got to pick up a rear seat bench to finish off the interior, already got OEM stitched leather door cards 8)

Lump not running yet, just need to get the starter motor connection sorted and plumb in the radiator.

Shouldn't be too long now depending on how much free time I get :)
