jus done mine, but mine was a zip in window, is yours. i think they came on the later 1s. if it is they are fairly easy to do. 2 person job though. if it isnt a zip in window then i think there is a fair bit of stiching and glueing to do.

It's a hood off job, so it can be quite expensive I think, like a Ԛ£150/200 sort of touch... good luck... I'd be interested to know how much etc.

So would I, I need my rear window replaced but I have heard quotes of around Ԛ£150 to Ԛ£200 so not sure wether to buy whole new roof or not as better value for money.

Let us know how things go, good luck!

So where's anyone getting quotes? I've yet to find anyone who'll do it!

If anyone knows of anywhere good for a whole hood replacement, I'd be interested in that too I guess... Don't really need it though :?

Mine wasn't a quote as such, it was a best guess figure mentioned by the bloke who fitted my roof about 6 months ago. He's from a firm in London who are mobile... bit far for you I guess... I can findd the number if you want it...

I haven't had a quote, just "quoting" what I have read sorry. I need to replace either the rear window or entire roof urgently but it is very difficult to find anyone who will do it out here in Turin in Italy, there are very few E30 cabs around!

im not sure but if your fully comp it may be covered in your windscreen cover and may only cost you your excess.
i read it in a magazine a while back and checked it when i got insured with tesco, and they do that if your comprehensive.
maybe a cheaper option for you mate?
