Let's bring things down a notch from now.
Moved to feedback section.
Ok, so the only thing to resolve is the refund. If it was paid through PayPal there should be an address within it's history. The balance will be displayed here too, if the final bid/buy it now isn't conclusive enough.
Take the hit on the fees if there is one and all things considered we could be be back on track as early as Monday morning - problem solved.

Shall we nail this refund then, Moody?
Judging by your responses thus far it was always only a case of when and not if.

why has an ebay purchase gone a little wrong turn up in the zone feedback
it should surely stay within ebay right i could understand the buyer giving a heads up to fellow zoners regarding the phat rimz but to bring it down to name calling is stupid it doesnt help in these sort of situations
the buyer wins the bid on 27th May which the seller has stated its now the 5th just over a week seller has accepted it was his fault so why all the childish name calling and sharing others personal details. surely a couple of days this would have been dealt with buyer surely would have got a full refund if seller has accepted fault
I ain't siding anyone here just being mutual

Good post, M-Sport.
E30Chat is known by all to be the forum most viewed. Bringing it in here allows buyer and seller to resolve their 'problem' away from the high vis chat section and where the mods can monitor posting content better in the short term.
The name calling does nothing but drag the issue on, and that goes out to community members jumping on the wagon before seller has had a chance to say his or her part. The fact that buyer re-lists the item is obvious the main cause for their concern. Not everyone visits here everyday - especially if it's eBay.
So, as with other feedback we need to keep chatter to an absolute minimum. Buyer and seller have each others details.

Even if you dont like his tone and are just making him wait, its wrong as he actually hasnt done anything wrong other than loosing out on his cash at this point... If It was me, I would have collected my refund by hand by now...

The guy (moody) has admitted he's at fault and that he was willling to offer a refund as soon as he found out what happened.... He hasnt gone into hiding for the sake of £350, as he's showed up on here to explain himself....
Regualr trader on here, bmw-mad has even vouched for him and said, he doubts he did a runner with the op's money....
This should all give the buyer some (if only a little) reassurance, as the situation is drastically better now than havng a seller who's gone AWOL...
There has obviously been a breakdown of communication, Moody has stated the situation, weather one believes it is a different matter... But if I say the buyer may have jumped the gun slightly, it may sound abit rich coming from me as i am not the one who is out of pocket...
But the tone of buyer however much it was justified early on, is still the same now after Moody has resurfaced and I also get the feeling it will still be the same even after he's been refunded.... This obviously doesnt help, especially if one wants a quick refund.

For a start I aint your pal. All I was doing was saying it the way I saw it, seeing as you put your greveince with him up on a public forum.... And there you go again with that tone of yours, and as a result my sympathies for you are fast running out.adamski80 wrote:Who are u his mum?? Talking of mums, didnt yours ever teach you some manners?... such as a little bit of politeness and general decorum and diplomacy, especially when trying to retreive something back from someone?... It does help!
Shame is, all this brewing up seems reserved for the computer... you got his address, get off the pot and go get it, whats stopping you?
With an attitude like that, id make you sweat abit longer too, but then again that would make me as bad/bitter as you....

Very true Jim, but he's been getting it from more than one person and that doesnt help either....Jim320i wrote:@ Low_E30 - This doesnt help the seller though...

The point im making is, if the buyer had calmed down abit by now, there's a chance he would have had his money by now... Not saying he didnt have a right to be irrate, he obviously did, but the situation changed slightly when moody reapeared and it should have calmed him slightly which could have resulted in a quicker resolution.....
Instead, he's now showing me the same attitude, and i aint even holding any of his coin!

Im out of pocket £390 + £30 for sending back which i will never recieve so i think im justified in being irrate. If MOODY would have used his 2nd ebay description first off none of this would be happening. I wouldnt have even considered buying scrap wheels, but sellers try it on. So i hope if 2 good things come out of this...1 getting refund and 2 people will put honest descriptions up rather than trying it on... and C buyers will think very carefully before dealing with this top class seller. As you said Low e30 you are not the 1 £420 out of pocket i am?

hi mate i dont need anyone telling me to refund the guy. its short and simple im a genuine guy, if you read what ive already put up i have a problem with my ebay account the money has gone to my bank already and i need to verify my account just waiting on that i told the buyer a couple of days ago, i admit i sold wheels that one has a weld,
and the other thing ebay would have automatically refunded it if i never had a problem with my account, as they hold the funds with a dispute,
as he is out of pocket i cant and wont pay cash as there is a dispute just not happening,
if i let the dispute carry on and never offer'd a refund it would take a month as you all maybe aware....
so this moody guy is now just chilling and you can carry on,

So how long do you think it will take?
I received an eBay msg from you last night 10.45ish and that is the first I knew of account problems. Moody you had my number as I sent it several times. If I had yours I'd have rang you before it got this far! Simples. My number again will now be sent via pm if you still have Internet or account problems ring me. I'm thinking this will be sorted before end of week?
