Hi Lads,
Im honestly not being lazy but having looked around the site for the past 40 mins trying to find an installation guide or thread for my Zone Chip i've given up.
Does anyone have any information on what i need to do to install my chip please? i was hoping to put it in tomorrow.
Im fairly certain Ant sent me instructions but they have been lost and i do not want to start messing with the ECU until i know exactly what i'm at.
Any help is appreciated!!
Cheers,
Stevo

Take the casing off the ecu and you will see a chip board.
You will also see a plastic casing that has the original chip in.
Take this case off and you will have access to the chip but be careful.
The chip is quite tight but the teeth attached to it are fragile, you will bend them.
Pull that out, stick the other one in.
Don't put it all back together just yet cos' it can be put in the wrong way round
Try to start the car and see what happen's.
If it starts straight away then switch off and put everything back together, if not, then turn it round and see what happen's.
Once all back to together start up and leave to settle for 10mins then go for a ride, treat it like a new baby at first as the ecu is re-learning the system.
Hope that helps
