That car was recently sold for about Ԛ£11000, even Jonb doesn't have that sort of margin in a car ! :)

mechanicals? sounds like the engine would be sad too then as those 3.8's don't like too many thrashings from cold

I sold Wendy Lynam(the previous owner) the Hartge 16s on that chariot, i tried to talk her into some 17" splits but she said it would look to 'flashy'. Earlier on while her husband was still alive it was sporting some shockingly council 18s and Alpina stripes and badges !. Birds took 2 bags off her to allegedly put proper Hartge suspension on it about 18 months ago when i sold her the wheels.
Re the side damage , her husband spanked it big style (the pass side i think ?)at a track day, the car went to birds for repair and an intrepid total bmw snapper took a shot and the mag printed it as part of an article on birds. Unfortunately Rob Lynam seen the article and his rather sorry looking chariot and promptly sued total bmw !, his argument being the article had devalued his car and implied that he couldn't drive.
As previously stated Wendy sold the car for Ԛ£11000 and being a very well known car (not for all the right reasons !) i can't see how mcp have got a hope of getting 24 bags for it !.
And then there was the time while at our friends munich legends for some undoubtably fairly priced work(and maybe a timing chain! :) ) the car was broken into and the sport evolution rear spoiler , stereo and other morsels nicked from it..........

There's a Hartge Touring in the classifieds which is apparently 1 of 3.

Shame about that White H36 though, and that red one..I remember seeing a red one for sale last year, possibly the same one?

Unfortunately another one is in trouble as well, the red hartge that was at the ace a few months ago is currently at birds having major surgery, the whole front end is rotten.
The car was previously owned by Kevin Bird and used(abused) rain or shine , without front splash guards  . As a result the a posts, bulkhead and inner wing braces are absolutely fcuked. They are talking about putting a complete front end on it !. So that leaves 3
