blue e30's only please ! trying to find a nice metallic dark

hi all, Right im stuck for a nice dark blue but ideally want a metallic, i see the laser blue metallic is quite nice but from the blue thread i cant really see the true colour in it.

So i have decided to ask fellow blue e30 owners to post up some nice pics of there blue e30's, so i can keep an original colour on my car rather than some gash unwanted paint on my car.

mauritius or macau blue are the best imo

i'll try and get some pics for you.

macau was only available, or i should say seen on e30 M3 evo 2's/cecottos/europamaister and motorsport cabrios.

mauritius blue was on the last motorsport cabrios and very few late tourings.

however both would have been special order on any e30

Heres my e30 2.5i cab, it is in royal blue metallic which looks purple at one angle and blue from another

All the same car, different lighting and states of cleanliness The front wings and bonnet were painted and the paint doesn't match 100% Should give you a good idea of the colour though

I'm not sure of this coulor, pretty nice though, might be lazur?

this is my lazur blau - comes up really nice when polished and is a very deep rich blue - but i agree with most others on here that mauritius or macau blue are the best blues.

I like Neon blue...but ive never seen it on anything else other than those late 'Design' cabs...

Only the Design edition cabs came in neon blue

Thanks, I like how there's a hint of purple in it yet it can also look blue or even black-ish depending on the light. I'll be getting my shell resprayed the same colour as that one is.

Royal Blue Metallic here. Lovely deep blue / purple when polished (apparently )

Cirrus is light. He wanted Dark Blues.

Royal Blue FTW - My first E34 was this colour and will always have a huge soft spot for the colour, the purpely shimmer in sunlight was gorgeous!
