Well I popped down to my local BMW dealer for a few parts (near hainault industrial park), think its called Sytner BMW, today and just around the corner I saw a very nice 2 door grey E30 with Mtech kit and parked by the parts dept, a nice E30 tourer. Anyway, I went in to buy/order my parts:
Air intake pipe
Sunroof seal (single piece one)
2x glovebox pins (to hold the straps to the box)
4x 2 part clips for the guards at the rear of the headlights

All for just over Ԛ£50 and the only part I have to wait for is the sunroof seal which should be in on saturday.
Id just like to add, what very helpful people they are (unlike other car dealers).

Anyway on the way back home, I saw a 4 door white E30 driving the other way and a dark 2 door E30 parked up (must be the home of E30's around there!).

When I got home, I thought id fit the parts straight away as it was still light. I removed the old air pipe and fitted the new one easily, cleaned up the light guards and fitted them, then fitted the glovebox pins easy enough.
While I had the glovebox open, I though id try to see why it was taking some force to open and close. It turned out that the but of trim on the right hand side of the box was too far to the left, I took the trim out to see that it was just screwed to a speaker style clip and the whole was oval, so I just slid the clip up, put it all back together and it works fine.

Its soo nice when things go well!

If anyone wants the part numbers/prices for the parts I purchased then let me know and ill copy them off the invoice.

There only little jobs, but they are the annoying jobs that you normally cant be bothered to do. Makes a change when a job goes right aswell!

keeping on top of the little jobs keeps the car tight, plus most are simple and cheap and a bit of fun!
