Does anyone know what fittng i need to link this to my M10 engine,
Thread sizes etc?
I was supplied with these [img][/img]but these are from an A series mini engine so no good?
I assume that i can use the sender but its the union that im stuck on.
Anyone help or got any ideas where i can buy one to fit, preferably a Y shaped one because space to fit next to distibutor is limited?

cheers guys :)

Dont know about the sender unit needed for the presure gauge,
but if the one you have works, and its from an old mini, then its more than likely going to be an imperial thread, so an insert is out of the question really. Ive never seen or heard of imperial to metric thread inserts before. If it was me and its the only sender you can get your hands on, id get an old standard pressure switch, cut off everything above the hex nut, cut the thread of your mini sender and weld together.
Make sure they are both steel first though

Have no idea about the M10, but if it's any help at all (probably isn't though) the M20 has an M12x1.5 thread for the oil pressure switch.

Perhaps take the old pressure switch out, measure it's diameter and the distance between a couple of peaks on the thread? :)

It's either M12x1.5 (most likely) or M10x1
used M12 senders are harder to find than M10's and they aren't a bargain new. don't know about the M10 engine, but on the S14 isn't a lot of room to fit the sender.
You could remote locate it and make a little block with the correct thread of the sender you've already got and bolt that block with a banjo bolt into the oil pressure's switch location.

Undo the old oil pressure switch and you may find the thread size stamped on it.
