Is the feed to the pump a +ve? 1 wire going down to the compressor, I can only imagine is a 12v feed to switch the clutch when you press the button in the cockpit...

Ive just had a quick look on mine, its a 3pin plug but only one hole is used.
I too am guessing it would be a 12v feed.

Yeah, that is my thinking also..
I believe you press the button on the dash, which switches a relay, which is kept 'hot' by 39, which in turn feeds a signal to the compressor..
