yes mateWilliam wrote:Where should i look for one of these, for the best compromise between quality and price? I've also been told I should paint the headlight grill section aswell if I was to paint a kidney? Is this REALLY the case, sounds like a lot of hastle!!!
paint it all in one go
you get an even colour then
its an easy job to do
4 screws at the front bottom of the grill (2 either side)
and under the bonnet 3 clips either side and 2 at the top of the kidney
P.s. gonna move this to styling and ice too mate

yeah man i know black kidneys are council bla bla bla, along with clear indicators and all non standard things. if they had come from the factory with a black grill I doubt that would have put you off e30's, you'd never have considered it council and would be laughing at anyone considering a sliver one. I want one because i think it will look a lot better with the macau blue of the rest of my car than the silver. is that ok?pacerpete wrote:Painted kidney grilles can be found in council localities and on ebay , the home of all wrongness , bad taste and tat !
Tylerma, thanks for the advice mate, will have a look. You rekon its best to paint an existing one, not buy one thats been made in black?

thanks for the help, looks like I will wait and think about it. Pacerpete, I would definitely be interested in your Macau blue one, just out of curiosity really to see what it looks like in body colour. What do you want for it, and what sort of condition is it in? I presume an m3 grill is no different to any other e30 grill?
thanks a lot

thanks a lot
