Should be pretty easy to spot this one if it surfaces.
Which I hope it does.
I was out in mine last night in Sutton / Cheam and it never left my sight in the pub car park and I parked it right outside the resturant where I could see it later on.
I have not lived in that area now for 17 years and rarely drink up there now but I was shocked at the amount of Police cars screaming about with the blues and twos going when I came out of the pub
Definately going downhill fast now even in the suburbs
.

Giggz heard about this, i know how much work you put into this car! lets hope you get it back. Its getting bad not just e30 MK2 golfs Mk4 golfs. Its got to be one gang around in the area. I,ve put the word out too for you, pure and utter pricks cant they leave other peoples stuff alone. I know you were talking to me aba some security. Alarm is a must these days, and or a tracker, ive started doing insurance approved trackers with no annual fee.
All Car Audio - Approved Alarms - HID Kits - Custom Boot Installs - All jobs considered
Again thanks for the support guys and thank you mods.
Was out til 1am lastnight roaming the back roads and main roads hoping to catch a glimpse of the car but no joy. Im just constantly looking out for it whenever im out. The more i think about it the more it pains me to know that the journey with this car is over but i didnt see it ending like this. Every other E30 i see on the road i get goose bumps and upset. These people dont understand how much heartache they cause when they steal our cars.
Is there any insurance experts/advisors on here i can speak to regarding my claim?
Thanks.

aarc - It almost sounds as if ive lost a family member but in all honesty the car was part of the family. Id get people asking how the 'BM' is before they ask how i am! Still trying to come to terms with how much ease and balls the bloke had to go on his drive, start the car (taking into consideration how loud it is and it was 1am) and simply reverse it and off he went happy as larry...baffled and devastated mate.

Ive had 2 people contact me with possible sightings but neither are confirmed. One was in Slough, someone first heard an e30 being booted down their road at 1am. They saw it as a black 2 door spoilerless e30 with 'shiney looking rims' but couldnt confirm the flared arches.
Second sighting was today in Walthamstow off Walthamstow High St behind a car park. Again, unconfirmed, the car was also black and had "nice arches" (couldnt tell if they were flared or not) and very similar wheels which caught the informants eye.

This is getting bad now there seems to be a number of nice ones getting stolen alot now down south im even if getting very curious up this end,i have 2 really nice 2 doors and a few bags laying about on drives etc.this is a organised gang surely? they want following and catching they must have a lock up or something, surely they are stolen for parts not just to ragg around like shite like cavaliers were only ever stolen for...more sad news! as i only break doggy ones not good ones and good ones are now very rare.

I am sorry to hear about this. I know I too would be fuming if mine got taken from me.
I live around your area mate, i will DEFO keep a good eye out. Especially around the Walthamstow area, know most of it like the back of my hand.
I have a few contacts that I will speak to that might know something, trust me all it takes is a little whisper from someone that knows something, it goes a long way.
Furthermore, I don't think there is any point owning a E30 in london anymore unless you have a garage to lock it in.

Sweep - A friend of mine mentioned that there are 2 known 'gangs' if you like that are targeting e30's in and around this area. Where the cars/parts are being stored remains to be seen but im hoping its only a matter of time these scum are found out and amde to pay for what they have done.
SeymourCake - Ive actually just this minute got back from roaming the streets of Walthamstow and saw a fair few E30's in the area but no joy spotting mine. Id really appreciate it if you could keep your eyes and ears open for any info regarding my car. Seems as though parking a motor on a driveway just isnt safe enough anymore.

Police are not interested Barry, unless you can lead them to a warehouse full of stolen parts and put the evidence in their hands they would rather spend their time driving round checking number plates/speedgun readouts.bss325i wrote:F*ck sake this is becoming a joke the amount of E30's getting nicked in London. I has to be one outfit!
That last cab to be nicked that the police caught red handed should be keeping tabs on them as you can bet its the same crew targeting them.
I know that there are zoners that are serving police officers so surely one of them could ask some questions, pull some stings even if they are not MET officers?
I was talking to someone who bought a car and got stopped by police, took documents in and it appeared to be a forged MOT cert, even though the car was only bought the same week the police decided it was a good idea to search his house.....
Why dont they put their powers to good use instead of just harassing people?

I've just spoke to "Tari", as he hasn't been on here for a while and lives local to you guys.
Awhile ago, he had all his front grill, kidney and smoked lights(I supplied) nicked in the night, got up in the morning and nothing was there
Told him to keep an eye on his too.

Hi guys,
Sorry to hear the F***ed up news mate! I'll keep my eyes open!
I have been seeing alot of nice e30's about in Ilford and Manor Park lately! Also there's apparently some guys that drift a few e30's around the Beckton area on Saturday nights! These would probably be worth a look!
Fingers crossed, hopefully we'll see this one found!!

Cheers Rav and Tari. Sorry to hear about Tari and i'll keep that in mind regarding the Beckton area. Im just trying to look forward now and deal with the aftermath. Once thats all sorted im then going to have a look out for a replacement. Initially i thought to myself thats it im done with E30's and the whole 'scene' but then i thought why let these scum get the better of me. I love cars, its a passion/hobby whatever you want to call it and i'll continue to fulfil that passion.

Really appreciate that Andy. most people wont have seen it but at least they'll be aware of it now. Pleasantly surprised just how many people have heard about the theft.andyp wrote:ive made a phone call and asked a few people but nothing has come of it,

I would think being on a drive is little if any real deterant at all! I guess a post would help or box it in with another vehicle. That said if they really want it they will get it no matter what precautions we take!
Not read this all so sorry if your motors been nicked!
