I bought some legs for the shocks, think they have guards on them still if you can't get any.

Nothing is definite when they're on back order. Ive had one on order for about a month - was supposed to be end of April, last time I heard it was August and now people are saying September.

Looks like they're waiting for enough to be on back order before they will get any more manufactured

I also have one on back order. I placed the order in December. Last I heard from BMW it was going to be August. I got the passenger side when I placed the order its the drivers Im waiting for. I even contacted BMW manhatten to check the US stock but they have non either. I've got a good used one for the time being to get me going again.

Well, I stripped the bits I need (shock inserts) out of my front legs today, so I have a set of backplates on a set of empty bottom half of legs, with hubs on. I tried to knock one of the nuts loose to get hubs off, but can't as I have no way to hold the leg securely enough.

If anyone is not too far away and want's them as they are, they are welcome to them, but I am not gonna get into boxing and posting, I don't think they are worth it.

If you keep banging the back of the disc it will pop of or maybe that was because the bearings were toast already

I meant the hub nut. The back plates are all bolted on with the original bolts, but they won't come off unless the hub and bearing are gone first.

Bearing will eventually come of, I made a mess of the alen bolt trying to get discs of and ended up just banging the back of the disc and it came of with hub attached. Them bolts are old and prob disintegrate when they see a spanner. I ended up welding a but to them, or you can grind them of just be carefull not to damage the back plate.

Dude these are effectively NLA - Its a buyers market so FFS don't give them away - I reckon if they're straight and not frilly £30 each plus post is quite achieveable- you could even get them powdercoated and ask for more

I havent even advertised them. I am not bothered, if they are going to stay NLA they will be worth there weight in gold. I will either use them or punt them on when the price is right
