Deer me!

When I was up in Glencoe yesterday I looked out to the yard to see a deer emerging from the barn where he had been had found an easy meal admiring my car





So I went out to get a photo and thought if only the nature photo competition was still running!!

So I feed (threw it in his general direction) him the end of a banana, he had it skin an all then stuck his tongue out - cheeky bugger

great photo's, but I can't help but think he would be better off in my freezer in Washington, than in a yard at Glencoe, I'd even drive up to get it, fantastic drive up there

There are loads of deer about in that part of the glen. They are not phased by people around this house which is good as it is a building site at the mo!! But rest of the year it is a hunting lodge

I think this one thinks its a water deer and its heading for the rapids.

Venison

we have Deer in the field nearby but they aren't that tame !

I must confess I did zoom in to take the photos but the deer was comfortable with me and the main contractor standing less than 4 meters away. He told me one of them took an Apple from his hand one day and they are wild which is mental.
