I think they bolt on but the flange between the manifold and turbo are wierd. I can't remember exactly.
Can you get the crankshaft too, they are sought after.

yeh the manifolds are horrible cast log manifolds. the forged crank inside the m21 engine will handle 700bhp! with a big enough turbo
i have tryed to get 1 of these cranks for a couple of weeks. i had to buy a complete 524td to get it! these cranks go for a lot nowadays!

only if it is a very early export. south african etc. otherwise i beleive they was 16v??? not sure
