what do you think of this boys?:

http://www.superflex.co.uk/proddetail.p ... 3-1754CKSS

looks to me like exccentric bolts...seems like would work but i cant figure out how they dont move under loading?

i mean how the bolts dont get turned by the forces involved and the camber and toe get adjusted as your driving!

any help appreciated

cheers,
Matt

£134.40 + postage including VAT? For £150 you can get one of these from DanThe: http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... +rear+beam

+ the required eccentric bolts, nuts & washers from BMW:
4 of 33321095102 ECCENTRIC BOLT M12X1,5X98 £14.71 for 4
4 of 33326760668 SELF-LOCKING COLLAR NUT £1.24 for 4
4 of 33321092310 ECCENTRIC FLAT WASHER £4.93 for 4

Total = 20.88

Prices inc. VAT delivered to mainland UK
Offer much more adjustment! And you get a nice shiny good-as-new rear beam too :D

Have to admit, I remain a little bit concerned about this myself. The bolts are profiled to fit a locking washer and nut so there must be some kind of mech. I'm sure it'll all come clear when I put everything back together again. Perhaps DanThe or Ian332iSport could explain?

The bush rotates around the bolt, the bush does not rotate in the housing, The weld in adjusters are the way forward the basically the move the pivot point of the axle.

but the bolt is eccentric, so that means that there is a turning moment on the bolt, twisting the bolt, as if you were doing or undoing it with a spanner, the same direction....my question is how do they stop this motion?

might look into the rear axle slots

Bolts and washers are keyed. You tun the bolt to the position you require then tighten up with the nut and all is clamped and won't move
