Hello everyone,

Updates to site...28.01.2006

At last, pictures of my well tidy 1988 white E30 325i track day project , various early stages of getting the car and also of my other car - an E36 328is M tech from 1996 with a mileage of 44'000 and 3 owners.

Visit: www.whitetrack325i.webeden.co.uk go to pictures - you won't be disappointed...! :P

Hope you enjoy and get tempted to visit the Isle of Man for a track day in spring / summer 2006, 1.5 mile course, loads of run off area plus a run over the TT mountain course with no speed limits out of the villages and NO CAMERAS..! Did you see Top gear from the Isle of Man? Hammond called it 'Fantasy Island for drivers' - In summer too there's calmer seas then for the 2.5 hr ferry crossing from Liverpool, get it in the diary....

Cheers

The M3 mine??? Unfortunatly not...yet!

This was the machine that Richard Hammond off Top Gear commented he would live here if he owned it!! Top Gear came over for filming the new M3 CSL and wanted some historic M cars so Tims was featured and Hammond LOVED it, he joked with Tim saying he wasn't giving the keys back - ever! This was 4th Nov 2003 ish

It's not standard, 6 pot brakes plus handling set up, it's fantastic on a track for sideways fun plus it's totally mint ta boot!

ANyway got to get back to the beach...

yeah brilliant pics

i've gotta 325i trackcar aswell and visited your site before - the pix of the birds caused me to crack up in the office - should get the IOM tourist board to use them

i notice you have got colway F2's - i have got a set which are on some heavy and slightly buckled 16" rims - only used them once on the road in the wet and predictably they were pants - running on stock 15" bbs rims at moment - might try the colways on track in the next month or so or might bite the bullet and get some good 16" rims - have you tried them on track yet?

Not Colways but it looks just like em! They're Maxsport RB5 for the dry track.

Not used them yet so can't wait to get the car sorted. Just tough on the Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£Ãƒ”šÃ‚£Ãƒ”šÃ‚£ at the moment Plus I'm just about to buy a OMP bolt in cage from Deamon twonks, door bars plus some little extra welding fixings. I would like a weld in but budget dictates plus it's only going being used on the track days and something is better than nowt! That and 6 point Harnesses, a good helmet.....and some hope!

Have you got any pics of your track machine?

PS I'll post you a PM with a link to another site of interest

PHOTO OF ISLE of MAN TRACK

I've added to the site a picture of the track on the Isle of Man to my website (See WWW Icon below)

Goto PHOTOS, then More photos it's the last picture. Excuse the quality as it's a photo of a print..
Right click and Zoom in to get a better look at the course.
It's also run anti-clockwise and time trials in the middle over a coned course. There is also an additional bit for the Karts that has been added but that's not on the map yet, I'll update you when it's available.

Cheers
