well apparently your thirst for speed/power outweighs your bank balance.
the only decent engine conversion for a really rapid spaxo beating e30 is an S50 and the engine alone would cost more than "that french shotbox" so looks like you'll be saving your milk round money a bit longer

power corrupts.....absolute power corrupts absolutely

Many years ago I saw a saxo vtr at the body shop at North Oxford BMW. It had a lamp post in it right where the driver's seat ought to be. The lamp post had just sheared through the car like it was made of butter - recovery had clearly had to take the post with them it was so deeply embedded.
Made me vow never to ride in one of those deathtraps. Pretty scary sight.

I replied trying to offer genuine help! Oh well!
And fozzy, do you really think the 30 year old design on an e30 is going to fair any better in a similar crash? Heck, look at this Audi R8 in what sounds like the same sort of accident:

And the amazing thing is an R8 is not even as fast as a saxo, so you would EXPECT more damage in a saxo!!!

Just out of shot in the R8 pics are the two flaming tyre marks left by FIREMYBROTHERs spaxo going faster than the speed of light.

That's a piece of armco. God knows what's up with that incident you picture, but it looks like some speed was involved.
The saxo had clearly just slewed off the road into the lamp post. I mean a concrete one, btw.
I'd fancy my chances in an E30 over a saxo. Although I agree we're discussing two cars that are really better best not crashed in.

e30-dk wrote:Obviously a dickhead if you think a 1.6 8v saxo is faster than a 325i,, go home you fool. If you put an m50 in an e30 you would kill yourself if you think an 8v spaxo is fast!!
For the record my mate has a shitroen saxo vtr and he cannot get anywhere near my car! If you had said vts you would have had more of a case,, still shite little cars all the same.
And an evo isn't a real drivers car with traction control settings for gravel, snow ect ect... How much more fuking help or driver aids do you need for christ sake?... Over 200bhp through rear wheels only with no weight over the back end and NO traction control = E30. You don't get much more of a drivers car than that!
Enjoy you micro machines fool

you prick your mate probebly cant drive.Evo thats a car with all the latest gizmos on there yeah keep restoring these old bags of shit iv seen sense maybe you will one day.280 bhp as std thats power with safety that will go around a lamp post and not in to it.
