ok first remove the tech1 kit then find rust

both arches inners and outers

front bumper also bit dented so new 1 will be sprayed up

need 1 of theses bumper rubber mtech diffrent according to bmw ?????
any 1 got 1 of these
more to follow the sprayer will take all the way through .

I don't know what will be different about the mtech strip and the standard one, I can't think of why there would need to be a difference.... they were about 100 pounds from BMW about a year or so ago.
Great to see another tech 1 going through a resto. There's been a fair few saved in recent years :cool:

I thought you already had done some bodywork on this one?

yes but i payed for what i got shite so shes gone to a good home and i hope she will shine once more but she will not be going to gether in a rush she will be put together slowly and with fresh bits so i can just driver her. allready orderd new discs front and rear, top suspencion mounts front and lolypops and 2 front tyres an 4 point tracking so then i hope it will be ok . the guy in the garage has a digi cam and a memory card so might even have some nice pics .

i have some bitch paint we use at work mate its a rubber compound we paint metal mains before we bury them. thought this would be good

Looks well, Waxoyl! the beuty of that stuff is it wont let moisturepast but will let it evaporate through which i doubt your rubber compound will, this could trap any deep moisture and cause future problems.

ok after a lot of messin finaly got the kit to fit with the aid of a hot air gun she went back to how she was supposed to be and she fits loverly .
