As above need to extend and repair some wires, what the standard amp rating of the oem wires?

Go to a scrappy and buy an E30 loom or part thereof. Huge supply of correct wiring in correct colours
'83 Bronzit 323i (mmmm, chrome)
'74 Polaris 2002 (mmmm, retro)
'89 Delphin 535i (mmmm, waft waft)
