Hi all
I am coming to the end of my e30 m30 conversion, and i have just the last two things on my list...the prop i have under control but the manifold on the other hand is another story...
My Engine was out of a e32 735, the exhaust manifold closest to the bulkhead clears the steering knuckle but the one closest to front of the engine doesnt..any help would be great...
Cheers jay

Im using the standard steering rack...i lined up the left hand mani and i know i can work with that but the right one..im sure when i lined it up it sat directly facing that knuckle...the cut and bend 90 sounds like an idea...

Jay,
My E32 rear manifold had to be cut and shut to fit. I eventually replaced it with a full stainless BTB system, so I could possibly be tempted to let the full E30-M30 Powerflow system go if you fancied an easy route.
It would need to be worth something though, else I'll just keep it in the garage as a backup in case I ever sell the BTB.
Pics below (system nearest the fence) that may help show the manifold.
Martin.
