whats the deal with cams and vanos on an m52?

no go or dosent matter?

(edit: 'dosent matter' as in most cams are fine with vanos)

You want S52 cams then, these are only found on the US E36 M3, it's basically a hot 3ltr M50 with cams.

£350 is usually the going rate for a used pair

Probably is, but I would guess you won't see change from £1k+ for a pair of schrick cams

Engine internals, I know nothing about. Dan is probably the person to ask about this.

The M3 cams are available, need to look on ebay.com (USA site) and they are there.

Dezzy had a contact somewhere bizarre like Lithuania who he had got a pair from in his 3ltr hybrid M52 donk
