My cars central locking went yeaterday. First the passanger door has to be locked manually, whilst the boot and drivers door locks fine. Now none of the central locking works. Any advice??

Check out the articles section of this site - there's a report on things to look at when your central locking goes wrong. Not a definitive guide, but a starting point.

where does the actual relay sit inside the car. Also, how much is a new relay? DAZ??

think about 70quid new but i may have 1 one here if not sure someone will
its behind the speaker /grille in the drivers footwell
if you remove the grille and the speaker you will see it inside the pocket the speaker sits in bolted to the framework on a triangular mounting plate
this is usualy at fault if your cl starts misbehaving so well worth checking
also check the plugs at all doors and connections to the c/l motors also

If you remove the drivers loudspeaker, you WON'T see the locking ECU.
What you should see is a black plastic plate blocking off under the speaker. Remove this, and look down into the cill, and then you will see the ECU, and, if you're lucky, an interior light delay unit beside it.
Unless the cill drain slots have become blocked, and the cill flooded, then I doubt if the fault is with the ECU. They are usually reliable, but don't take kindly to immersion.
By far the most common fault with central locking is corrosion of a particular pin in the driver's door hinge pillar plug and socket. The pin in question is right at the edge of the circle of pins, at the bottom near the large hole, and can usually be identified by the green gunge.
I have posted the cure for this several times. Use the forum search function.
