E21 brake servo

Hi lads,

I have just purchased an early E21 brake servo which is supposed to be the smallest one available.

My question is to what length do I have to shorten the rod so it will fit my e30

Technology has come on a long way since the E21, would have gone for the clio one (which is german after all).
The rod sits flush with edge of the servo on an E30.So which ever you use it has to be the same. :)

Can't imagine that they evolved that much because it aint exactly sophisticated engineering.

So maybe I have to push the pedal a bit harder but can't really be bothered about that.

the e21 servo conversion is a LHD thing not sure many people will of done it here

I maybe stood corrected but a clio servo has a double diaphram,therfore should be better pressure?
