A chrome vert in excellent condition yes. A average 2door coupe, nope. Shows up so much imperfections.

I used to love my white iS when it was clean. I used to hate it in the winter becuase it went grey from the dirt alot :(

One of the most common colours "back in the day". Hence so many are white. Yes it lost it's popularity in the 90's but only if you were a sheep / fashion victim and followed the hype.

One of the best colours for an e30 IMO. shows the lines nicely and is timelessly classic.

Original White is one of the best colours for a e30 :D
breaking loads of e30 coupes,tourings,convertibles,baurs,sports etc, e39 sport breaking e36 m50 sport breaking e36 m3 breaking, e28 breaking, e24 breaking

some white e30s do look good, but as mentioned before they will have to be in very good condition, and kept polished as sometimes the panels end up being different shades

myself, davey b (on here) and our mate spud.... all agree white is the best colour.... the argument we can't settle is what's better.... cab, coupe or touring :cool:

White is the best colour by far! Yes you have to keep ontop of it to look its best but its always worth the effort :D

I get what you mean, does look quite menacing :cool:

I've only ever owned one white car in 18 years.... It was a right shed, though I did get it resprayed and it looked quite for a while.

But at the same time they don't show every parking ding, swirly finish etc. One of the easiest colour to actually make look good.

Whereas Black or dark blue!! Jeeezus. Gimme a white one over black any day. Every spec of dust, ding, scratch, ripple etc. shows at the drop of a hat. Nightmare.

Downside is they are hard to photograph though.

My first E30 was white. Looked the nuts when it was polished up and all the black parts treated for contrast :cool:
